HORRORSCOPE was formed as the music project in Chorzów
(Poland) on the early days of 1997 by Lech ¦miechowicz. With the line up which was three person only they recorded very first demo tape called
"Worship Game", but later HORRORSCOPE became not only studio project. The former idea of making music totally changed after joined the band of four more musicians: Lech -guitars, Chris -guitars, Adam -vocals, Darek -bass and finally Piotr -drums. With actual membership they're putting their ideas up to create a representative sample of own style.
On Winter'99 HORRORSCOPE brings you another killer giant called
"Wrong Side Of The Road" (Demonic Records). Second stuff is a harmonious balance between brutality and beauty, it is uncompromising authentic kind of metal. The influences comes from classic Bay Area bands but with modern studio sound and supersonic technique. Most of people compare their to TESTAMENT, ANNIHILATOR, OVERKIL...
After release in 2000 four tracks demo
"Pictures of Pain", they got offer from Empire Records to sign one album deal. In March-April 2001 at Mamut Studio HORRORSCOPE recorded new tracks on the new album entitled the same like demo - "Pictures Of Pain", which is now promote in Poland. Polish premiere is planned on 27th of May. In America HORRORSCOPE will be available on Autumn this year as licenses on Crash Music, European market will be serviced by Plastic Head.
"Pictures Of Pain" contains strong and melodic vocal parts, spectacular guitar style - it's full of crushing rhythm parts and extremely ultra fast solos. There's no boring songs. HORRORSCOPE pounding in your face powerful metal with the good taste. Do you ask yourself what the really thrash means? Do you need more details? Finally the first true thrash from this side of Europe !!! When you listen you must headbanging !!!
