ABUSED MAJESTY

    ABUSED MAJESTY was formed in October 1998, in Bialystok, by the drummer- Icanraz and two guitar players- Socaris and Lukasz. By the end of 1998 the line-up was set, what enabled the band to give first concerts.

     After a year of hard work ABUSED MAJESTY was prepared to issue a demo. "Thee I Worship" was recorded in September 1999 in Hertz Studio. It consisted of 4 melodic black death metal compositions. After the recording session first changes in line-up occurred. In the consequence the number of members was increased to six. With the new musicians ABUSED MAJESTY appeared on some concerts with bands such as Domain, Christ Agony, Misteria and Maniac Butcher.

     In January 2001, again in Hertz Studio, "Gods Are With Us" was recorded. This 18-minute demo contained 5 compositions plus intro. By adding keyboards, female vocal, cello and acoustic guitar, the band could vary its music and introduce new areas of sound. The demo got the attention of the underground what encouraged ABUSED MAJESTY to arrange many concerts. The band played all over Poland with e.g. Sceptic, Anal Stench, Crionics. In the meantime they managed to release, on their own, both demos on MC. In the end of 2002 one of the founders left ABUSED MAJESTY and since then the band has been a quintet.

     In December 2003 ABUSED MAJESTY was to Hertz Studio once again, but this time to record a full-time debut album- "Serpenthrone"- with 10 new compositions. Different members and rich experience made them not only much more fierce and brisk, but also better arranged. In March 2004 ABUSED MAJESTY signed up a contract with Empire Records. On 25th June the "Serpenthrone" was released in Poland.
